Protégé Keyset Interactive Display and Function Keys

Protegé Soft Keys heop you save time when you process calls. Use these interactive function keys in association with the keyset display to access many call processing features, including these examples:

 

 

Directory Dialing Directory Dialing

Just touch the function key to look up a number in these directories: Intercom (icm), System (sys) or Individual (ind). Enter the first few letters of the person’s name, and it will show on the display. Then press the function key to dial.

 

 

Calling An Unattended Extension Calling An Unattended Extension

When you call Kim and get no answer, Protégé gives you 3 fast function key options:

F-1 Request a callback (cbck)

F-2 Leave a message (msg)

F-3 Leave a voice mail message (vm)

 

 

Password Change / Lock Phone Password Change / Lock Phone

Touch a function key to change your user password, or touch another function key to lock or unlock your phone. Locking your phone will prevent unauthorized users from placing central office line calls from your phone while you are away from your desk. You can still make and receive intercom calls, and receive central office calls when your phone is locked.

 

 

Supervisor-Agent Help Request Supervisor-Agent Help Request

Vicky can request help from her supervisor. The supervisor then has 3 function key options:

F-1 Answer (ans) Vicky’s request and be conferenced in on the call

F-2 Acknowledge (ack) the request by sending a message

F-3 Reject the request

Works like your home answering machine to let you listen to a caller as they leave a voice mail message or you can reject the option to listen

After choosing to listen, you can touch the function key to pick up and talk to the caller, or exit and let the caller continue to leave a message.

 

 

Premises Message Premises Message

You can display a text message on your phone, and the same message will appear on the phone of anyone who calls you internally from a display keyset. While six messages are programmed system wide, you can program one message from your keyset and change it as often as you like.

 

 

Incoming Calling Line Identification (ICLID) Incoming Calling Line Identification (ICLID)

Depending on the service your phone company offers, Protégé can display the caller’s name or number on an incoming call while the call is ringing. When you answer, the display changes to normal answer information. You can press the function key to review the information during the call.
