Abilene, Kansas.
- 1965 - Union Electric becomes
United System Supply.
- 1791 - United System Supply merges
into North Electric, a subsidiary of United Utilities; begins selling products to
non-affiliated customers.
- 1972 - United Utilities becomes
United Telecom
- 1977 - North ElectricŐs
manufacturing divisions are sold to ITT; North Supply remains as a separate subsidiary of
United Telecom.
- 1988 - Company surpasses $500
million in annual sales.
- 1988 - Launched EF&I service.
- 1991 - Assumes central warehousing
functions for all United Telephone Operating Companies.
- 1992 - United Telecom changes its
name to Sprint.
- 1993 - North Supply Company adopts
new name, Sprint North Supply.

of equipment to the telecommunications industry. These products include digital key hybrid
systems, station apparatus, network and data products. The company is structured to
cooperatively develop products for companies and divisions within the Sprint Corporation,
as well as providing products to an independent dealer network and other independent
telephone companies and equipment resellers. |

founded as NorthCom Group, Inc. the source of proprietary telecom products to be offered
exclusively through North Supply.
- 1987 - NorthCom renamed Premier
Telecom Products, Inc.; introduces Premier ESP Key System, PremierŐs two-line desk
telephone, and miscellaneous premier products and terminal equipment.
- 1989 - Introduces Premier
Expression Voice Processing; the Premier ESPDX Digital Hybrid / PBX system; and the
Delight Dial-In Handset telephone. Outside plant, network and transmission product lines
continue to expand.
- 1990 - The ESPMDX Digital Hybrid /
PBX System and associated PC console are introduced.
- 1991 - Introduces PremierŐs
Answer Digital ISDN-ready Hybrid / PBX and the Flair family of single- and two-line
feature phones.
- 1992 - PremierŐs Sprint 824
digital wired key system is introduced.
- 1993 - Premier Telecom Products is
renamed Sprint Products Group. The Sprint Protege Digital keysystem is introduced along
with a new wire management system.
- 1995 - Sprint Products Group
introduces Protege Dial, its first CTI software application, and the Questra collection of
Caller ID units.
- 1996 - Protege CTX introduced and
the Questra 5090 Call Waiting Caller ID unit.
